Sunrise Community Farm Center is a vibrant educational hub in Chapel Hill where children lead the way in discovering the magic of farm life. Modeled after the traditional family farm, the center’s acclaimed youth programs - including award-winning summer camps, school’s out camps, and hands-on after-school care - empower kids to learn by doing. Central to this experience is a comprehensive horsemanship and riding program designed for all ages, from toddlers in "Little Rascals" classes to elders seeking a new connection with animals. Beyond youth activities, the farm serves as a resource for the whole community, offering adult classes, birthday parties, team retreats, seasonal festivals, and "Open Farm" Saturdays that encourage generational learning.
